Dan Dooley
Dr. Dooley is a board-certified orthodontist who is excited to be part of Village Orthodontics. He grew up in San Antonio, TX where his father served in the U.S. Army as a physician.
Education
Dr. Dooley earned his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. While at Tufts, he was honored as a recipient of the Army Health Professions Scholarship. Upon graduation, he served as an Army dentist at Fort Gregg-Adams (formerly Ft. Lee) in Virginia.
Following his military service, he returned to Texas to complete his Orthodontic training and Master’s degree in Oral Biology at the Baylor/Texas A&M University Orthodontic Residency in Dallas. He remained in the Dallas area after graduation where he worked in private practice for several years. However, after family vacations to Colorado over the past few years he and his family decided to make the move to be closer to the mountains. He is moving here with his wife of 15 years (a practicing Child Psychologist) and two sons, ages 8 and 6. Additionally, they are excitedly expecting a little girl due this summer.
